Installing Intake tomorrow!

The mounting screw under the heat shield next to the radiator was hard to reach. Other than that it was pretty simple.

yea i did it today, and ran out of time before work, its on securely enough but it is not how it is supposed to be, i need to go tomorrow and finish it up, in one step of the directions it said you have to drill a hole? did any of you guys do this?

If you have the Intake Air Temperture sensor(IAT) on the intake, then you have to drill a hole. If you don't, then you don't have to worry about it.

What year did they add the IAT on the intake itself?

I was pretty luck with my car being a 06. I didn't have to mess with a air pump and all that jazz. On my IAT I just put it in the hole that the older cars would use for the air pump.

I finished it up today, secure and its very good. I was so surprised when i gave it WOT, i didnt think it was my car for a second. This intake is great!

car sounds better than a v8 with this intake at WOT.

I totally agree, its like a beefy v6, raspy almost like a wrx with an exhaust, but better sound than a v8..my opinion
