Installing JDM F20c engine on my 2000 s2k
So, I have come accross a low mileage JDM F20c engine (from a 2002 model)for a VERY good price.
I would like to know if you fellas out there know of any issues or any concers I should have or be aware of in regards to wiring, Japan having higher compression rate, using my AU ECU or should I use the JDM ECU etc.
I would like to go turbo eventually with this engine, but would like to see what you all think and all advice is welcome!

Stick with the ecu the motor comes with I think the ecu is coded to the key in the ignition ? Not sure but my buddy has the swap done and it's faster then my ap1
untill I hit nos
lol . Good swap time consuming tho

if u have the jdm ecu, you can go with that or you could use your own. if u do end up using the jdm, you have to go to the dealer to reprogram your keys. well if you want to go boost, most people lower the compression to run more boost.
Couldn't you use your existing ECU, harness, intake manifold, and whatever else you need from your current S and transfer all the over the the JDM F20 longblock? That's what I did with my Integra to keep it OBD1.
