Dmitry, I had a body shop tape my spoiler on at 2 PM. I left at 2:15 and drove straight down to Virginia en route to the Dragon. It's not going anywhere once you press it down!

Yea, 3m tape is fine.
Clean the surface with alcohol.
Just place them perfect on your first try though.
You will spend hours trying to remove that piece later on.

Awesome! Installed and looks great. That thing is on tight WOW. This double sided tape stuff is good. Well I hope it lasts. Hope water doesn't weaken it, I wash my car often.

Great thread!
Just got one myself for $100 including shipping in a group buy at Honda-Tech and was worried about the installation but this is reassuring!

There are 5 spots left, but patience is required lol.

I did about 20 practice "installations" before putting it on and still I installed it slightly crooked.

You can't tell but I could when I inspected the part that hugs the trunk on each side of the third brake light. Once that 3m tape catches to the trunk good luck to you moving it or adjusting. Never mind taking it off.

I am lucky I did over 20 training installtions before tacklig actual task.

I even made marks on each side of 3rd brake light to make sure wing is even spaced and not too close or too far on both side of brake light.

Forgot to mention. Cleaning with alcohol was vital. It made a huge difference in sticking. Paint becomes squeky clean and tape stuck right to it.

Nice! Didn't realize the 3m double sided tape was so strong!
