Default intake

i have some fiberglass and resin laying around. suppose i tried to make my own snorkel (just for fun) for the oem airbox. If i used carboard for the intake and then fiberglassed the whole thing inside and out, would it catch on fire or something?? this might sound really dumb but hey, just an idea

well i dont think anything wold ignite the cardboard; but i dont want to give you false information and have your car catch fire... but if you ask me, i would probably do it

i think it would be fine just because it would be coated inside and out with no cardboard exposed... now ive just got to get measurements and get to work!!!
