yeah invidia is known for being exceptionally loud, if you don't like it sell/trade it for another exhaust here on this site...

Too bad. Sell your exhaust. Nothing really you can do honestly.

well... like i said.. i pratically got this exhaust for free.. so it wasnt a choice between 2 exhausts.. but i did however install back my stock exhaust piping which really helped, almost no drone, a nice deep tone... something that is bearable. the exhaust looks sick but i've always like mufflers more than canister exhausts... maybe a fujitsubo later on...

Why does the title say v3 ap2 but you own a ap1? Not that important of a question but just an observation I made that caused confusion. To help your problem... I have a invidia v3 and yes it's loud. You could put a test pipe on and it would help a bit.
yea... i had no idea which to put on... cuz i have a ap1 w/ ap2 bumpers and ap2 exhaust... not like it matters anyways...

I had the stock Invidia resonator on my V3 replaced with a Vibrant 3" Ultra Quiet resonator. It helped with the drone inside the car but if you get on the throttle it still unleashes hell

i have a invidia v3 on my06 with 70mm test pipe and plm header, i love the sound when pushing the car hard but def on normal driving the drone gets to you, id recommend dynamatting ur trunk and all under driver and passanger seats, a few people have done diy's on it

What i do with my skunk 2 exhaust for when i'm just daily driving is put just one of the silencers in. That way I still have the awesome pissed off street bike sound at vtec but i can keep the noise level down when im going from light to light. Not to mention i get back some torque down low when one of the silencers is in. I would try it out before you sell it or hack it up. If you hate the look of silencers just go by some high temp black paint and paint the silencers black so they blend better. I had the same issue but ever since i painted them it really doesn't bother me anymore. I get compliments all the time from random people about how awesome my car sounds even with the silencers in. Hope this helps and good luck

I have one. I find at times it can be a bit much but it's easily controllable with the law about and makes most people into performance cars smile when you give it the beans going past.

Either love it, live with it and perhaps consider sound-proofing your car - it makes quite a difference. Or fit a race cat/de-cat which helps the resonance. Finally, just sell it and buy something else.

I wanted one as I wanted a fun, loud sports car feel which the stock exhaust lacked.
