Invidia Exhaust modifications
So i've owned my nfr Ap2 for about a month now and love it! I wanted to do more modifications to my exhaust. I LOVE the overall sound of the dual Invidia Q300 exhaust. No drone at all, but i feel its not loud enough! I wanted to make it louder with minimal drone when cruising on interstate. What would you guys recommend doing ie. (testpipes, headers, cai) etc. im looking for a somewhat loud/ smooth sounding system with minimal drone please give me some suggestions of good companies you guys experienced with.
I have the Q300 and 70mm HFC.
Drone is still bad with HFC but only between 3-4k rpm. Unfortunately that meets a lot of cruising RPMs depending on your speed.
When I first put my Q300 on, I thought it wasn't so loud, but after time it seems to have gotten a lot louder.
Same with my HFC.
When I put the HFC on, I couldn't tell a difference. But on my 2nd-3rd drive, I noticed it started to get louder and louder around 5k RPM.
Had enough of the noise, so I'm going to a 60mm and an intake so it's nice and growly when I actually want it to be

From what I've noticed, this exhaust actually gets quieter running with a test pipe than a HFC or stock cat. Right now I've got Q300 dual, no resonator, and test pipe. It is quiet with partial throttle and hardly any drone at 3-4k. But at full throttle, and especially in Vtec, this exhaust screams!
