Yes, I think the orange goes to the rear. You may want to consider just getting lowering springs or coilovers instead of going through the hassle of switching them

I agree. If the wheels are staggered the front tires are supposed to be 40 profile in front and 35 profile in the back. The springs could also be reversed. I will try to look at my springs when I get home and i can tell you what color dots are on mine.

well actually, my bro has some 205/55/16 on his stock ap1 wheels all around and the gap still looks the same (he went with that size to save money on snow tires) so i still doubt that a stretched or pinched tire will produce a two finger gap. i'm still leaning towards reversed springs

I went with 35 series all around bc thats what the previous owner had on it. Ill probably do what you suggest and spring for some lowering springs since Im gonna have the suspension all apart anyway. (pun intended there )
