250whp NA is gonna hold its own against 350whp FI
Thats one of the more misinformed statements I heard in a wile, and a bit surprising to come from a sponsor.
Peak HP numbers mean nothing.
A lot more comes into play, use-able power, use-able torque, torque curves, weight, etc.
A few local guys have bolt on turbo kits and such, I will have my motor done in the somewhat near future and we will get some videos.
The car will also be faster than my girlfriends 400whp Vortech 350Z.

First off what happened to this topic, whats with the negative posts about beating z06 and gto's... I know that came from other topics because i read those as well..
Back on subject:
What proof do u have that your car will beat a 400whp and most likely 400 lbs of torque on just 260whp....
I dont want to argue with you but in ur post u said its based on usable power and torque curves, but i just showed you two dynos, one with a base greddy kit and one with a TUNED itb setup.. And if you looked on both the torque curve and horsepower curve was greater on the turboed car throughout the band. There was better usable power throughout on the turbo verse the NA..
I think you need to scale down your idea, there is absultly no way you will be able to beat a 400whp 350z, even if you have a 2.7 stroker...
I dont want to say something bad to u but your starting to sound like the ricer who said he beat the z06
Theres a guy on here with the 2.7 stroket kit that will destroy ur itb setup unless ur stroked like him.. I suggest u pm him and he can tell you what his car is like and how fast he runs..
PS the only way u would able about to kill the 350z is if u shot 200 shot of nitrous but then it wouldn't be NA anymore

Sure that all means something, but your statement is still quite far fetched. I don't care how fat you think your power curve will be on a N/A 250whp S2000, it will fall well short compared to the overal power curve of a 350whp FI car, SC or especially turbo. If your talking about a drag race, which i'm sure your implying, remember you will never be under 6k rpms, so any advantage you think you will have with your "fat" power curve will be pointless. You will get your ass handed to you. I think your trying to justify the amount of money you spent on that build direction buy bringing up impressive claims to help you feel just, sorry
No question your car around town or a track will be fun and capable with nice response, but when push comes to shove in a drag race to see who's holding their own, well you already know what my answer is there. bye bye
^ lol thats a good one.
I agree with everything said, and I know boost is better when it comes to the S2000 and drag racing, which is not what the S2000 was made for in any way.
I will just be quiet for now until I have proof.
