I am having problem with the install as well. I keep getting a CEL, P1415. This CEL pops up before i start the car and will pop up even when i clear the code via code reader.

I have hardwired every connection because I thought the problem was with the red connector taps.

You can see all my hardwired connections in the picture. If anyone can see anything wrong please let me know.

You should electrical tape that , but yes, mine works as well. My code came back on when I used the screw things, so I just soldered them. Not a problem since.

The pic was for reference to show where I have my connections. The problem is, my izzy kit isn't working and I don't know why. I still have the CEL.

Have you emailed Caleb? You ask him for the values the values that should be read by a multimeter when the car is on/off to indicate a functioning air pump delete module

Also what steps did you do the air pump mod in?

Talked to Caleb and we found out that fuse #26 was the cause of my problem. The previous owner took it out for some reason. This fuse is very important in compleating the circuit for the air pump.

The half taps will work, as long as you fully seat them. I've had the airpump delete for a few years now and haven't had a problem with the half taps.

But, soldering/heat shrinking is a much better method unless you plan on ever selling your car.

Update:
I soldered the wires and its all good now. No more CEL I picked up some solder, heat wrap and borrowed a friends solder gun. It took about 20 minutes start to finish.
