I had this j's racing precut carbon cooling panel and I tried to install it once with the regular j's racing snorkel and it did not seem to fit.

I might have install it wrong or it is not design to fit the regular snorkel. I know it will fit with the expensive j's intake

If any of ya have this set up please chime in

try installing it again and carefully inspect to see exactly where the contact is. If it still touching then worst case it has to be neatly trimmed?

Its really made for the full js intake. I had to shave part of the cut out for the snorkel on the cooling plate along the right side of the snorkel (where the screw point is on the snorkel)

 

How far down does that snorkel go behind the radiator? A great looking combo - hope you can get it installed ok - looks like lovely workmanship. Posts some pics when you get it installed. BTW I didn't think that there was anybody else out there that kept their engine cleaner than I did but I think I have finally found one. Nice to see. It is almost as much fun keeping things in good nic as it is driving this baby. Enjoy.
