because then the overall light pattern is pointing DOWN just to avoid blinding people...

the light FLARES off to the left on the jdm headlights, to get it low enough your visibility would be ridiculously lousy

ohhh, gotcha. but i honestly doubt, that one side is noticably higher when the h.i.d. is coming at you, i mean it's going to be hella bright regardless.

Well.. If the light manages to get at the eye level of someone, it's terrible. I'm sure you've all had a Range Rover's HIDs in your eyeballs from your side mirrors when one pulls up behind you... It sucks.

If you can afford the JDM lights, go for it.
