Default JIC FLT-TAR Coilover review

Finally, I have some time to post up my review on my JIC FLT-TAR coilover suspension. Two months of waiting for parts was worth the wait because after around 1,000 miles of driving I fell in love with my S2000 again. I was on stock shocks and Tanabe GF210 springs before and the ride quality is night and day in my opinion. My wheels look like they fit the car more with tires tucked nicely under the fenders, about a 2 inch drop. Cornering speed, steering response and body roll have all improved. 15 way adjustable FTW!

do you still have trouble adjusting the damping with the adjustment knob there? If you don't mind me asking, how much did they run?

I've been interested in these coilovers also.
Can you post some pictures of the car so we can see the stance.

Thanks

How do these differ from the FLT-A2's (what I have)? I really like mine as well, but I'm always looking - you know how it is

Looks like they're basically the same as the FLT-A2's, just with a slightly different name, and a dust cover. According to the product page, the part number for the S2000 application of the FLT-TAR is "AP1FLTA2", with 12kg/10kg springs.

I asked JIC and this what they said. "The dampers are re-designed with a different valving method and the internals are more reinforced. The lower bracket is much more beefy than the FLT-A2's and has a better (gold) protective coating for rust. They also changed the spring rates for our cars for better handling."

E Ticket- Your the only other S2000 I know with our special JDM wheels! Why you gotta copy me! JK . I took some pics this last weekend of the stance. I'll try to get them up this weekend.

careful guys, those JIC workers are the worst out there. Once it breaks or you need a rebuild, they give you a crazy run around. If you think I am lying, I have first had experience with a guy there names Paul
