I am havin a tough time choosing which intake to go with

PRM, FIPK, PRM, FIPK sigh

Wish i could see some back to back performance stats although it probably wouldn't make a difference like you say... Wouldn't the PRM have more heat soak?
will it soak up more hot air than another intake setup like the FIPK? yeah probably a little...but honestly it's all very minimal...I plan on getting the PWJDM kevlar heat shield and cover the back w/some gold foil tape to combat the heat and I'll probably run some kind of hose from the grill up through the passenger side to direct cold air to the horn of PRM

I'm really not worried about it...it's gonna perform fairly well, the heat issue should be at least partially solved w/my planned mods, and it looks good and should sound even better

Get the PRM! I just took some pics, but I really need to clean up and get my few other parts on. I'll post some good ones once I get it all done. I don't want to keep pics up of my dirty engine bay.

I guess the heat issue is not that big of a deal depending on what you do have planned like you said.... I am thinking about the hood vents to reduce the engine bay heat and with this intake the filter is not exposed which would give me peace of mind when raining cats and dogs.

yep...well I have a Grillcraft grill so it would be fairly simple to attach something to it...I've seen all kinds of stuff on here...I'll make something that it not only functional but that looks good...we'll see

yeah that's another option...I can tell you that I ran hood vents w/my FIPK and never had so much as a hick up...it was great...but yeah it would be even better w/the PRM

I've seen a few and it looks decent. I know Gigdy posted on the 2nd page with his, but you can't really see the intake well. Maybe you can PM him and ask to see if he has anymore pics.

After viewing Gigdy's picture on page 2 it looks like the PRM is lower and extends past the scoop a bit, but i doubt this would make a difference as long as cool air is rushing in somewhere near it. My home made bumper scoop should help quite a bit
