Thumbs up Just installed Eibach Pro-Kit...

I just installed Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my '02 S2k. Other than the springs and the front strut brace, all the suspension & chassic components are stock, along with the wheel/tire setup. Front tires205/45-16) Rear tires225/50-16). I had the car aligned immediately after the installation, but like an anxious moron, I forgot to ask for the alignment spec print-out. And now the car feels like it's darting around on the road; much less stable thanin it's stock form.

So I want to go back to the shop tomorrow and have them re-align the car with me in it. But I want to go back there with a realistic idea of what can be done withOUT the Eibach Alignment Kit.....Can anybody tell me if the following specs can be achieved withOUT the Alignment Kit?

Front Castor 6.45

the eibach alignment kit is not necessary. i had those exact same alignment specs when i had the eibach prokit. did you remember to preload the suspension?

if i was really motivated i'd go out to the garage and get the specs for what the alignment shop did for my eibach pro kit (from stock springs). i did not purchase any alignment kit, my drop was minor (only 1") and did not require any such kit...

It's good to hear I don't necessarily need the Eibach Alignment kit to get these specs.....And yes I preloaded the suspension.

Tekstar, because you had the same alignment specs with your Eibach Pro springs, ....How did the springs and alignment setup feel to you? Much improved over stock?....I like the feel of the springs so far, but the car is definitely a little darty now (which is where the proper alignmet will come in).

to be honest, it has been so long since i've driven my car stock that i couldn't really give you a good analysis of the eibach pro-kit. i'm not quite sure what you mean by "darty." the eibach pro-kit felt very similar to the stock suspension for me.

I am not sure if the Eibachs do this, but my Tiens springs settles a bit after the install. So you may want to wait a bit before you do the alignment to be sure the car is at its final height.

i usually would recommend that you drive with the springs at least 2 weeks before getting an alignment, to properly let it settle to the height...
