In the process of putting some bling in the engine bay: Chrome plating the heat shield and K&N black box where the air filter sits. Also polishing the valve cover and intake manifold. I would like to replace the black plastic tube the goes to the air filter with a chrome or polished pipe. Does any one know of a direct replacement?

Won't putting chrome in there encourage heat soak?
That's really a moot point.
OP, you may be able to pick up an ebay short ram with the correct angle. They usually go for about $30 shipped. If you want to sell the K&N plastic tube let me know.

Why would you say that? Heatsoaked metal intake piping will do more harm than good. Not only that, but the resonance plays a part in airflow aswell. Plastic is used for a reason...
If you want more bling in your bay, while keeping that intake functional you can wrap the plastic K&N piping with aluminum or gold heat wrap.

O.P. why would you want to replace that tube? thats pretty much what you paid for when you bought the intake in the first place, if you want to replace that tube then just sell the whole intake and then make your own intake from scratch. It would save you money.

explain to the people why its moot
Because the the pipe itself isn't being heated by anything other than ambient air. Touch a metal intake pipe after running the car hard, like at a track, for instance. Unless the car has much larger issues, the pipe will never reach the type of temperature that will be detrimental to engine performance. In addition, the air is not "stored" in the pipe, allowing for it to be significantly heated. This is in addition to the fact that the K&N FIPK uses a metal heat shield to surround the actual filter. If heat soak were a significant issue then all the air being sucked in would be pre-heated before it even reached the actual intake tube.
But most importantly, the OP stated that they wanted to improve the APPEARANCE of the engine bay.
I agree that if the OP is just interested in appearance, but do we have facts either way of the intake pipe heatsoaking the intake air? maybe because the heat from the pipe is transferred into the intake air and thus why its cool to the touch?
