go get some DEI silver heat shield tape for the outside of the box too, i covered mine alllll over the outside and bottom.

i actually just cut it in pieces and only cover the top part (where the hood rests on.

You shouldnt have to cut anything, it bends around the whole metal box, you just have to give it a little finesse, took me some time but just work it a lil and it will bend without cutting anything, dont do that
