To me smaller reservoirs = less volume = more heat = less dampening w/ hard driving...

Like I said -- to ME -- if a critical piece (like dampeners) doesn't perform at least as well as OEM, then I look elsewhere.

Maybe these dampens do perform as-well-or-better, I don't know ---
But reducing reservoir size is a flag IMO.

Many high end coilovers use a single body such as the JRZ singles, Ohlins, Koni 28's, KW Comp, Tein N1. You can't really make a blanket statement stating that if you remove the external reservoir you're downgrading.

As far as the Kbee review goes, I just did a corner balance about 3 weeks ago. The car does feel a bit stiffer due to the 12k springs. It's really hard for me to compare to any other setup as this is the only coilovers I've tried. I would rank these in the same realm as the other 1000$ range stuff out there. In the future I'd definitely look in upgrading to a more competitive setup if I can get someone to buy mine. For the average street rider I'd say these coilovers fit the budget perfectly.

haha, 99SH you beat me to that point. The Ohlins are AMAZING coilovers, and many of their models don't have remote reservoirs, but great valving and design make it one of the top coilovers that you can get.

So you are going on record to say that the KBees are similar to Ohlins (one of the best damper tuners in all of europe)...
Wow....

And here I thought lower end Ohlins and Motons were comparable to other high end shocks because they really knew how to dial in a dampener.

If you look at your list, almost all of the companies you mentioned go to remote res for their high end components... I wonder why?

you can spend all that money on high end suspension.. obviously you dont have the
time and equipment on the track to make full use of the highend stuff so why buy it and use it on the street like what 98% of users here do .. i mean ya its streetable
and people wonder why there SRC and KWv3 go out and needs a rebuild .. remember most of the highend stuff is prolly more ment for smooth surfaces like a controlled area like a track not a city street with potholes like no tomorrow

Not sure if that was directed at me but I am no way comparing these coilovers(or any equivalent variant) to the Ohlins setup. I was just trying to make the point that single bodied reservoirs can be setup better than the stock piggyback units.
