Default AEM F/CI

So I've been thinking about getting the AEM "piggyback" system, and I recently found out that Boomslang has a plug and play harness for it, so now I'm really interested. I've searched but haven't found anything about anyones experience with it. Has anyone used it yet? Its basically like a semi-standalone, actual tuning takes place on a computer, it has tables for fuel and timing, adjusts vtec, on board data logging, and map sensor. It says its specifically made for OBDII cars, and sounds like everything I would need. I'm n/a and have the VAFC but this sounds much better. I've also heard that you can add fuel without it making the map sensor think its seeing boost, and that the ECU won't compensate and overwrite the settings so you can actually tune the whole RPM band. Can anyone confirm this? Any help would be great.
