Default K&N + Ztech heatshield?

Would adding a heatshield be benficial even tho the k&N has a mini heatshield of its own to prevent heatsoak?

Only reason I put Ztech is because I have an Ingalls etd and there both compatible with each other.

Yes they definitely do help with hear soak. We sell engine heat shields for fipk and similar other intakes and have had great feedback from members running them. Even better if you decide to put some heat foil on the back of them.

Could u sell a heatshield with that already installed? Will it work with an ingalls etd installed? If it does and u can install the foil ill be more than happy to buy your product

I always this fear that a heat shield will actually be a heat insulator. I still got a Gladman strut bar with included heat shield for use with my K&N intake. I like the way it looks, but haven't gone as far as wrapping the parts in a heat resistant coating. I'm open to suggestions.
