Cool leather shift knob

hated how my oem knob always gets so cold so i decided to test fit the shift knob that was in my old tiburon

here is a picture of it installed in my s2000. I have the axial flow sts, I think this will also eliminate some of the rattle/whine sound that is transferred through the sts into the knob I will find out tm. Anyway, it is leather on both sides and the middle has the 1-6 and R just like the stock s2000 knob, and the dark aluminum color closely matches the interior. The knob does require removing the retaining clip of the knob (i already had this done because i had to do the same thing in my tiburon.) I think this is used to keep the nissan shift boot attacted to the knob... Otherwise it just screws on and sits a little lower than the oem knob.

sorry for the crappy pic i took it with my phone
thoughts?

Isn't the thread pitch different for Nissan @ 10x1.25 versus Honda @ 10x1.5?

IMO. ewe. But if it feels right for you then its perfect. i feel thats how most shift knobs are. some are ugly as sin, but its all on how the owner likes the feel.

I find those style of knobs (slight pistol grip shape) to be nicer for shifting as opposed to round shaped ones, particularly when shifting from 1-2,3-4, 5-6. I like the look of the stock knob but I find it a bit on the small side in terms of feel.

the knob that should have come stock
I'd still prefer the Voodoo as stock but, obviously, YMMV.
