Mine are a crappy HID kit that we pulled from my friend's Mustang. What are LED's?
can i get some pics of this?

I always wondered how HID's would help in the reverse light, haha.

i was wondering about that my license plate light isnt to bad, i orderd the wide led's so hopefully they wont be so point focused
For the license plate / interior lights its fine (hell I use them), but for reverse lights / blinkers / etc they are way to dim overall

I can get some when she comes out of storage, but I don't know when the weather will cooperate

It's kinda janky the way they are in there, but the OEM wiring and bulb are still intact. Let's just say that the interior of the trunk gets lit up pretty well too

You may find the tubes on ebay, or just about any online computer place such as xoxide.com.

To plug them in, really all I did was took a little piece of acrylic that I cut to be the same size as the wedge the 194 bulbs have. Then cut a two notches on one side, took the bare wires of the CCFL and bent them over the notches. From there, you just plug it into the socket.

It is nowhere as hard as it may sound. If you want, I can do it in 3 minutes, take pictures, and PM you.

Let me know.

Doubtful, those PnP LED lights are usually terribly dim compared to a standard bulb because the light of an LED is so point focused
I could see what you mean with a normal led array with a bunch of standard leds facing one way, but what about these led's?

They are supposed to be very bright. They arent those stanard led types either; it think these high-powered types are much better.

And also, i'd just like to throw in that i have a set of those cheapo 4 led 194/168 bulbs in red as my parking lights as well as my clear side markers. The previous owner put them in. I have to say, for a couple of bux at autozone, they are pretty bright. They are very easy to see at night and are definately brighter than the stock clear bulbs.
they look like these

They are definately more focused because they are just 4 forward pointing leds, but the plastic diffusers still light up completely.

just a thought.

I really want bright reverse lights though, so if you have any experience with them, let me know.
