Hi fellas from across the pond

I'm looking at keeping my stock shocks (low mileage), and im wanting to fit lowering springs.

My parameters are:

*I want to go low but not to low.

*I know this isnt the best combo, but if possible I DO NOT want to degrade the stock handling if possible and dont want to be bumped and floated all over the shop and end up with handling worse than stock?. I guess this is to do with the rebound rate and kgs?

If possible improve my handling?.

BTW the roads here are shite (bumpy) in england compared to you guys i have been to the states a few times.

 

Sorry not too familiar with springs although I'm running tein H-tech's on stock shocks. Handling seems comparable to stock so does the ride. The drop isn't too low either.

Other popular springs I've seen are Espelir's (sp?) and tein s-tech's.

Swift springs lower the vehicle .7" in the front and 1" in the rear and retain the best qualities of a stock suspension without being too stiff.

Id recomend the Swift or Espelir springs. The swift will retain the most shock travel and is a moderate drop. The espelir will be lower, with stiffer rates. Both ride well on stock shocks. We have both available for immediate delivery, as they are the ones we always recomend

i got skunk2 springs and i love them. they lowered the car to about a fingers width from the top of the tire. i have 0 problems with speed bumps and such and i think the handling is a little better than stock. i dont seem to get any tire skreech while in a fast corner. now too expensive either about $200

 

not sure if this was posted previously or not: look into neuspeed springs (www.neuspeed.com). I've put those on MY01 and it's nothing but pure joy! Ride comfort is close to stock, it handles nicely in the corner (no handling in my opinion is sacrificed) and it looks *AMAZING*.. My 2 cents on the issue...

 

go with swift or eibach. & do not lower more than 1 inch all around
