I will wager money there will be NO power gains at all with just the muffler swap
they are twinloop mufflers, its pretty much ideal for the s2k
maintains low end and high end velocity with one muffler

If you like the sound of those mufflers then go for it. If it doesn't work out on the S you can put the stock ones back on or go with something else.
I like Hooker Aero Chamber Mufflers, they have a low tone cruising but as you turn the power up they make a deep growl that sounds good on the S/C V6, 4 cyl. Civic and a S/B Chevy that red lines at 8200 that I've put them on. I first heard them on a S/C Ford 460 and they sound(tone wise) the same on every car I've put them on.

OEM mufflers may be heavy as shit but they're not restrictive. Magnaflows will get you an aggressive tone but as earlier posted, exhaust gains are very modest on the S. If your goal is to cut weight and the exhaust is just one part of a broader program, you can improve the quickness when you approach a 150# reduction. How do I know? Try dating a porky girl with the S, you'll feel the difference.
