Default Megan Header owners

I installed mine and noticed that the o2 bung is just bearly touching the heatshield under the car. Is this normal? I think this is where the vibration is comming from at certain RPM's. Im thinking of putting a piece of header wrap behind it. What do you guys think I should do?

give it a shot i did yhe same thing on my TP...and / or trim a litle bit of the heat shield to clear some space..it should work...i had same issue but on my test pipe instead, its rubbing a bit and makes a rubbing sound on a certain lower rpm, so i trim that portion thats rubbing and i wrap it with heat wrap...its all good now....good luck....

the header didnt gained much but it weights a lot less that the stock one. my car gained only 1whp over stock. before header the car had AEM V2 intake and a homemade testpipe no tuning done on it. it was on a dynojet with temp at almost 90 degrees.
