Hey guys I been trying to find the thread about modding the TCT but I cant seem to find it? I guess im searching for the wrong words but I was wondering if anyone had the topic saved or somethin

 

i never seen the thread, but by modding the TCT, do you mean getting the worm gear sandblasted? thats the only 'mod' i know about it.

 

i remember the thread as well. i dont remember if it was ever a proven mod though

 

it is certainly a proven mod to the original TCT. mine has been sandblasted for about 10k with no problems.

26 pages of good information. i would start from the last page first. and if ur using mobil 1 and having TCT issues, move away from mobil 1. i never had any probloms with my TCT until i used mobil. im completly lost on the modding TCT issue though

 

i think someone lengthen the spring or something (not sure if thats the mod everyone is talking about)

 

Are you talking about lengthening the shaft?

 

had mine sandblasted also, cured the problem.
