Ignore the start of the thread I accidently clicked post and I don't know how to edit or delete the thread.

Is there away to make the S2000 more modern interior and creature comfort wise? Example; double din head unit so I can add a reverse camera and navigation, electric/heated seats, just little things that make it more modern?

I know I sound like a tosser and someone will probably tell me to buy an MX-5 but it doesn't hurt to ask

There was a JDM S2000 with a Sat nav - http://cdn.images.whatcar.com/delive...1661046441.jpg

Not sure how easy it is to get hold of the JDM dashboard.

Power seats are pointlessly heavy.

To edit or delete a post, you will find buttons in the lower right of your post for doing that.

You don't need to get a JDM dash, you can simply purchase the Honda bezel and install a simple screen/tablet to drive sat nav and other apps. Do a search, there are multiple threads on it. I would not suggest a double DIN install as that will interfere with the HVAC ducting behind the dash.

I am not sure where power seats came into it, but I would agree that those are needlessly heavy and add nothing. There are threads on adding heating elements to the seats and you can find videos on adding lumbar adjustment bladders to the seats as well. Again, search the forums.

I am not sure what else would be considered modern comforts. Automatic HVAC would be a more complicated process to add and really isn't necessary. Driving nannies would fall under the heading of get a different car/learn to drive (also high difficulty).

I have always found the S2000 interior very clean and like the simplicity. I mean you are dealing with a pretty small amount of space so I have never felt the need for electric seats. The JDM nav bezel has always looked odd to me as well. In the left hand drive model is angles the screen more toward the passenger and again breaks the cleanliness of the dash. You can add heats seats easy enough. If you don't want to do it I am sure any upholstery shop could do it for you.

The OP is in Australia, so bezel angle shouldn't be a problem.

Adding a nicely thickened leather steering wheel has transformed my interior, along with a nicely padded armrest, makes the car feel much richer on the interior. Adding an extra 12 volt plug has helped with GPS and cel phone use simultaneously, LED instrument cluster has updated the interior as well, along with rear speakers.

Good single din head unit with bluetooth streaming audio, phone calls, etc. Get a CD less unit, so you have space to sdd a class D compact amp behind the dash. Upgrade the speakers.

Add the jdm bezel with a tablet.

Add heated seats (though, Australia? Heat seems like last thing needed)

Add an aux usb charging port to passenger knee area console.

Ah didn't catch that. So yeah then the angle isn't an issue. It still looks odd to me but at least on a right hand drive car it looks less odd.

100% agree on the new head unit. It is easy to run a charging cable for your phone as well.
