Default MOMO Supercup Racing Seat

Anyone here ever tried the MOMO Supercup Standard in their S2000? I'm on the lookout for another fixed back seat. I've had the Pole Position in the past and I know they are tried and true for the S, but I'm not digging the cost. The dimensions on the MOMO are comparable to the Recaro. Hard to beat the MOMO in terms of cost and them being FIA approved. Just not sure how or if they fit in the S2000.

If you want an FIA approved seat for the least amount (and don't mind that it will be on the heavier side) check out the Corbeau Forza Sport Forza Sport - FIA Fixed Back - Corbeau Racing Seats

Local guy has this in his car, and it fits the S2000 with no rubbing on door and retains the use of the secret compartment, it is also surprisingly roomy (fits up to 38" waist). He had his mounted on the Buddy Club rails, but said he had to make some modifications to get it as low as possible.

Kenny Stang - I appreciate the suggestion and I've looked into that Corbeau before. I do like that they do fit the car without modification, but I just can't get over how cheap they look. But for the price, they're definitely hard to beat.

Are there any Sparco seats that you like? Ordering directly from Sparco.IT and using the 15% off code, even with shipping, is still much cheaper than any US distributor.

They aren't for everyone, but I honestly didn't think the quality on the Forza Sport to be any worse that what you get on say a Sparco Evo II (cover materials, cushions, etc). They are significantly heavier due to the steel construction, but that may not be as big a concern for some. Either way, good luck with your search!

I have the Momo Super Cups in my S and they fit fine driver and passenger. The XL ones will not fit though, only the regular ones. They will leave a slight dent in the doors from the shoulder bolsters but that was something I was able to live with.

Wish I saw your post before just committing to purchasing a Recaro bottom mount/reclining seat lol

Oh well, hopefully this thread helps folks looking for an affordable and well-known manufactured seat in the future. I did find this MOMO seat online for as low as $449 with free shipping and no tax.

No biggie man and I hope this does help other people as well. I also don't know if reclining seats are SFI approved even for the passenger seat.
