I got it from partshelper.com (great experience by the way). if i remember correctly it weighs around 28-30 pounds. its very light.

thats an awesome idea nitewing. thats just a little to much for what i wanna do. lol

I think i may try to use some electric actuators or something to be able to open the rear section, i still have some playing around to do with the top to get it perfect.

How do you guys suggest i fill a couple small gaps that i have. i have one where the windshield meets the ht at the top and one on each side near the door jam.

yeah sure ill post some up when i get home from work. the rear section stick out a little further on the sides. not exactly sure how im gonna fix that one either....

im not sure that you can fix that. that the difference between spoon and what you got. It still looks very good at a fraction of the spoon top. well, maybe you could take it to a professional to do those touch ups, remove/add plaster. maybe you could even do it yourself if you have the proper knowledge and conditions for working with FG.

for the gaps you could use black silicone, not necessarily the really hard adhesive. it would provide waterproofing and would be vibration resistant to some degree
