Oil Pressure FTW. No other gauges required in my opinion.

I'm keeping my car NA and track it. I have a single A-pillar gauge pod with a PLX multi-gauge and currently only monitor AFR's due to tuning with my AEM. I have an oil temp sensor module ready to go in when I receive my Canton oil pan and may potentially add oil pressure. Both may also be routed to the AEM to allow it to cut power when thresholds are reached since I don't really get to monitor my gauge while on track aside from a quick glance down the straights.

Volt meter, don't be a cheap a$$, get a good bat. W. Good conections.
Oil pressure. Maybe
Oil temp. Yea, thats the only thing ur engine dosnt monitor.
Afr... Don't get me started.

They're bullshit, but you should go with a wideband? I cannot remember the last time I saw a narrowband display being used if that's what your first reference is about.

what I was trying to convey is if you have a set-up where you need to monitor your air fuel ratios then I would suggest going with a wideband...to me, just a regular AFR gauge is a waste of money because all it does is give you a light show

Oil pressure 10000%. When your stock oil pressure indicator comes on, it's already too late.

I just can't remember the last time I've seen anyone use a narrow band gauge. With the availability of wideband kits and many OEM cars now using wideband sensors, it's been common acceptance that a referenced "AFR" gauge is wideband since it actually tell you your AFR.

Honestly, for the average person and street car, most wouldn't notice an oil pressure issue until that light came on anyway. For a track car, you can watch trends as oil heats up excessively and the pressure drops.

If this is a street car, oil temp is going to be virtually useless.
