Default Mounting seats, question?

So I bought brackets, sliders, and seats. I realize now that I didn't even need the sliders so will probably return or re-sell. None of it came with bolts, though. I'm going to attempt to use the ones that are on the factory seats, but before I pull them out wanted to see if this is even an option. Seems odd to me that nothing came with the mounting hardware?

So anyone know if I can reuse the mounting hardware from the stock seats to mount bracket to rails or if they are different? I just don't want to take the seats out to find out I need to wait and buy hardware because my time is limited

First off what kind of seats are you using? And what kind of rails? My sparco seats did not come with the hardware to mount the seats to the rails (I used buddy club rails), that is an additional hardware that sparco sells. I just picked up the bolts at a hardware store. I belive they are m6, i used grade 8

F1Spec reclinable seats (R1), it already had rails on it but I bought Sparco rails because I didn't know... Also have Sparco brackets. I was just curious if the hardware from the OEM seats would work on the aftermarket ones. Guess I'll just pull them out and see.

Thanks

No the OEM hardware will not work with any after marker seat. Most aftermarket seats, be they side mount or bottom mount have the same patterns for the hardware can be interchanged. For safety's sake, don't try to hack the seat installation by using the OEM hardware. A well mounted seat is critical in a collision.

I don't do any hack jobs

Guess I'll take the passenger seat out, see what I need, and drive to the hardware store.

Sorry to reply to an old thread, but has anyone in recent years been able to find a seat rail that can mount the Recaro SR3 on a S2K without having to do any modifications?

I was looking into the Ballade Sports Mugen style seat rails, but been getting mixed reviews regarding Ballade

I was also looking into "Nagisa Auto offer their Super Low Down Seat Rails with Double Locks" as well as the Bride Seat rails.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
