Default Mugen Intake...

I was wondering how many people on this board have bought a Mugen intake without mounting hardware and used it on their car? I made a custom bracket for the rear that holds it in place will this work?

I guess it would make a good paperweight if you cant actually use it on your car.

The question should be, if you bought a Mugen intake from somebody, would you expect to get the mounting hardware with it, or get scammed?

for a good scam, just sell somebody an intake, dont bother telling them 80% of the parts that go with it are missing, then when they complain, start a stupid thread like this, and dont do anything about it....scammers suck. Dont ever buy anything from this guy.

I wouldn't. If it's only 'mounted' by it being 'plugged' into the elbow, the intake will vibrate and move.

It will start to butt up, chip, and scratch up the area around the radiator support and the underside of the hood.

The big mounting plate will support the plenum, while the two brackets near the opening will keep the mouth of the intake off the painted areas.
