MY FUTURE MOD
Ive seen this before, the engine is around 30 grand, it would be absolutly amazing to place in a S2000 because like the OP i want lotsa more RPM's
but you can have alot more with 30grand to lol

IMO, i dont think that would work very well as it is designed to pull around a motorcycle that weighs less than 1/3 of what our car weighs... it would take alot to make this work.

I agree with almost everyone! I personally don't think I could have more fun in a car than I could if I could ever come up with swapping this into my S.
As far as a tranny, I know that I will get flammed for this also, but I believe it would be best to use a sequential tranny with paddle shifters on the steering column! I would prefer this over the traditional sequential shifter based on the fact that if I ever had a vehicle like this it would pretty much but a dedicated track car!
I never looked into it specifically, like I said I just came up with the thought of such an engine and then I saw that page.
But I could only imagine what the S would sound like with a 2.8L V8 screaming to 10,500rpm's would sound like

haha... I had the same thoughts when I saw that page and others like it, There are a few other small v8s like this one on the market.. most of them are frankensteined like this usually found in kit cars like Caterhams, etc. I totally agree, it would be the ultimate setup. It will fit for sure, considering people stuff LSx motors in. It isn't much heavier than an f2x and it would probably still fit behind the front axle! Can't you pretty much make an adapter plate for almost any motor\tranny?.. you should be able to mount it to the stock transmission but I guess if you had the money to do this swap you wouldn't want the stocker...
