Default Need advice: Sealing holes from roll cage

So, I removed a roll cage that came in my car, and now I am left with a bunch of holes in the floor board and upper trunk area. I can already see rust in and about these holes

Is anti-rust solution and filling them with bolts an adequate solution? Or will this quick-fix simply postpone the inevitable?

Is there any treatment/solution that I can suggest from a body shop?

Appreciate any advice

Take the car to a body shop, I'm sure they can tell you what you can do. You'll probably have to remove the areas where the rust is and weld a plate of some sort to cover up the spots. Don't quote me but its just my opinion on it.

I use this material called "POR-15" for rust proofing and prevention. if it was my car, I'd "POR-15" the holes and the rusty areas then fill in the holes with RTV. You can buy the RTV in caulk gun sized cartridges. POR-15 is like like paint on powder coating. Once it's painted on, it doesn't come off.

I always use RTV under the rollbar plates when I install one to prevent rust from starting.

Clean/clear the rust, then prime and paint. Whoever installed the cage should have painted any exposed edges after drilling.
