i'm having trouble finding info on how to fix the issue i'm having with my top, cant for the life of me get anywhere on the little Island of Ireland

here's my problem, and how she sits

why is it sitting so high? this top is only a few months old, and i bought the car as it was....

i have more pics taken if they'll help with diagnosis..... so far all i've done is make sure the wire was connected\riveted both sides under the metal part at the front of the top

I see that your car is either a MY00-01, so is it a rear glass conversion top? Could be possible that someone didn't install something properly.

Im going to agree with this guy. I have the EZ-ON and mine sits a bit lower than that. Looks like someone just fubar'd the install.

There is nothing to adjust on the tops. Take the header apart again. Then make sure the cable is properly through the top, the frame, and is mounted with the correct screw. I have a feeling that it is wrong because the cable is what holds that part of the top down.

Feel free to PM me your number and I can walk you throughit by phone.

Don't worry. It will get fixed

Put the top open half way. The header should be straight up in the air. Along that edge of the top look to see if the cable is just flying around loose. If not the work your way to the edge of thetop before itmakes it's bend downward. You should see a small opening where the cable exits the top itself and goes through the frame and is the secured by a screw. You might not be able to see the secure point with the top still attached at the header but you should be able to determine if the cable is inside the top or not. Also, email me any pictures you have.

The seals will press back in. Use a little silicone spray and the rubber will slide back into the channel easier. Make sure every bit of it is set or it will not seal right. Your seals are wavy because of that.

The cable runs through the fabric of the top. Are you ABSOLUTELY sure it's run through every eyelet in the fabric?
