Default Need help with EZON INSTALL

We are almost done but can't figure out how to fold the part of the top you screw into the from I believe ez on refers to it as the B pillar

There are two holes and a lil plastic tab that are suppose to be folded in and then a metal tab screws over it. Unfortunately the part in the DIY where it says pay close attention to how it is folded was read after I had already taken it off.

Any help would be apprciated as this is the last part for the install i need!

I've done the install but I'm confused to which part you're on. Can you type what the manual says? Go into a bit more detail?

Step 21 in ez on directions. Says Install B-Pillar Attachment Tab washer and Screw through hole in top.

It is the bottom part of the rubber trim where that plug goes in. Pic 28 i believe in the diy write up on here.

Stars "Then focus back on the bottom section of the window trim area where the long plug was removed....

AAAAAH Yeah that part was a pain because if you don't do it right when you close the top you either get a hole or risk ripping the top at the corner.

I'm guessing you screwed the part that clamps under the metal alright but you're left with a plastic tab that doesn't quite reach under the metal. Get everything set up, close the top, let it sit for a while then open it again that will give you enough slack on the tap to fold it under the metal plate and secure it down.

well we did screw it on but were unsure. Does the fabric with the two holes just fuld under and line up with the holes on the pillar? Is it that simple? The fabric in this area looks really weak and looks as if it will rip / tear. Should I put the top up for a bit then screw that piece in? I am assuming once installed there isn't any real pressure here as it isn't made with any reinforcement.

most likely "stayfast cloth," which is vinyl.

"Black HV Denim" is what they replicate as the OEM replacement.. this material is vinyl.

"Stayfast Cloth" is actually made my Haartz and is indeed a Cloth/Canvas type material.

So that tab does it need a screw through it? Like the old oem top had? if so do you drill through the canvas? Or do you just fold it back and have the metal clamp hold it in place?
