So that tab does it need a screw through it? Like the old oem top had? if so do you drill through the canvas? Or do you just fold it back and have the metal clamp hold it in place?
I have the stayfast canvas EZon too. I have the same problem, I was confused on what to do. So I didnt screw that part in yet. Everything is done and the top has been closed for a day so Ill probably wait til next week to figure out what were going to do.

This is what were refering too. The screw with the foam. How do I screw that in? Is it really necessary?

BUMP for an answer!

Looks like you have a some of the old top still attached to that screw. Take all that gunk off first. Then, get a sharp screwdriver and push the screw into its place while you're turning it.

On the EZ-On top side, the tab should be arranged so that the canvas faces up and the plastic tab faces down. Not sure if there is a mark, but the screw should go through the canvas and then the plastic where the hole in the plastic is.

Hope that helps.

Alright how does the fold go for the part that the metal clip goes on? I see how there is two holes one for the plug and one for the screw but at the end of that tab there is alot of excess canvas does the just get pushed up against the part where the old foam screw went? Or rather is there a certain way to fold it.
