My ballast went out a while back. So instead of spending all of the money on another ballast I just bought new HIDs. now my car and my bike have 55w slim ballast HIDs. They are both 8k due to the fact that 55w bulbs run hotter and brighter. so they appear as about 6k or so. I buy them from DDMtuning.com. They are a really really good price and work great for me. The s2k, suburban, staturn, jeep, and street bike sitting in the drive way all have them from this site.
