Default Need Help Picking Header

i have an 02 ap1, k&n intake, invidia 70mm dual catback with 70mm test pipe with the cel fix, was wondering what the best header would be to throw on it for best power, possibly going to supercharge it this winter so i want to take that into consideration as well...

Depends on your budget. Hytech if money isn't a problem. Berk if you have a moderate budget. If you don't have much money, then don't even bother.

It should be noted that you probably won't gain much power(might even loose some) from a header pared with your mods, unless you have an EMS. IE I only put down 184whp on a Mustang dyno with my mods but I really need a tune.

I have a Megan header and Apexi vafc II for sale. The Megan header has proven gains and is very inexpensive. Don't take my word for it though, search and you'll see good things about it. With a similar set up as you and the Megan header and the Apexi VAFC II tuning it I put down just under 220whp on my '03 to give you reference. I made big mid range power too. Let me know if you are interested.

LULZ Last two suggestions are funny.

If you're going to supercharge, go with a 4-1 header like the comptech, hytech 4-1, asura 4-1. A 4-2-1/tri-y is going to be restrictive once you boost. And a 4-1 N/A will give you great low end power/tq, but will lack in top gains (after tuned, before tuned it actually dropped my power band on my setup).

What's so funny about my suggestions? Have any proof about the 4-1 header on N/A set-ups? In theory, a 4-1 will make power in the powerband that it was designed for. Saying that they all make low-end or high-end would be false. I'm not saying that your header didn't but that's just one 4-1 header design. The Hytech N/A and superchaged headers are tri-y's. Asura makes a header?
