Default Need help with T1R lug nuts..

Hey everyone,

I just recieved my set of T1R chomoly lug nuts the other day, i went to put them up against the wheel see what they looked like and it seems as if the lug nut doesnt fit in the designated hole for the lug nut itself!

here is the link for the lugs...

http://www.vexmotorsports.com/T1R--Chromol...5mm_p_5042.html

Im guessing its not safe to tighten the lugs if they arent properly sitting in the hole??

would i need certain wheels to use these lugs?

This strkes me as odd, ive never delt with something like this before so wondering if anyone has these lugs and could shed some light.

thanks alot, Capcitys2k

Are you using them on factory wheels (stock wheels in the sig)? If so, you can't. Factory Honda wheels use a ball seat lug where most aftermarket wheels use an acorn seat lug.

What kind of rims are you trying to use them on?

As Silver said, they will not bolt correctly into the OEM wheels. There is a difference between "tuner" lug seats (acorn) and OEM lug seats. By the looks of your sig, you have OEM wheels.

Hey there,

As many people have mentioned, what wheels are you putting these nuts on?

Regards,

Hey guys, Na not stock wheels but these knock off wheels... YL wheels. i tried findin a link for the wheels but no luck.

I deciding ill probably end up selling these wheels anyways , i dont know if i want to run 17x7s all around anymore, think im taking a different route.

Should i be ok to use these lugs on any other wheel?

thanks

Hey there,

Replica wheels probably won't work with these wheel nuts. Replica wheels usually require tuner wheel nuts to fit.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
