Default Neuspeed X-brace / easy

My Neuspeed front X-brace just came in. Beautiful, thick gloss black finish with yellow logo facing forward. Came with four stainless 8mm bolts. Literally a 10 min install (not counting jacking up the car / a ballet of balance and floorjack maneuvering). $195 shipped.

So since I have read negative feedback about tower strut bars on here.....does this thing provide any better handling?

I dont know yet...I've got some serious turns and curves toward Yosemite that I'll have to try out. I know S2K'ers don't seem to like strut braces, but chasis braces are supposed to be noticeable. (I have a Spoon strut brace).

I had one on my RSX-S i remember hooking up alot of people from my friends shop for like 120.00. But that was like 4 yrs ago. It really made a difference, but that was a front traction car. I dont know if it will do the same for a S2000. Maybe a suspension pro can give info.

I installed mine well not neuspeed and really didn't notice that much of a difference, i heard if you want more girp and less oversteer to upgrade your front sway bar.

This upgrade is more of a nuance than a seat of the pants improvement. It will provide the S with more structural rigidity and it will narrow/lessen the entire chassis' flex..........but the only time it will really come into play is if you're riding hard on the vehicle through cambered corners, where change in suspension geometry occurs under extreme load.....However, anytime you go up-over-and down shopping center driveways the entire body slightly flexes creating ever so minute stress fractures in the chassis...............EVER-so-minute......If nothing else, this modification to the front of the chassis is a great piece of mind.

......my $.02

I've got the spoon. I could tell the front end felt more "like one" if you know what Im talking about. It didn't flex as much. Idk I liked it. I wanted to get the Cusco subframe 3 piece brace, but I can't find it anymore.

as Vtec4life said, the best mod is the front anti-sway bar. Comptech adjustable is best, but its way too much.

I've had my Neuspeed X-Brace on for 5+ years now. It especially helps reduce the front end chatter on uneven road surfaces. Going down a crappy road without one the whole car seemed to rattle and vibrate. WITH one, it seems to track better.

The Neuspeed is a good low-budget option as far as X-Braces go. The design is good, with very minimal interference on oil draining (I have to wipe it down after I tighten the drain bolt back up). There are some out there that get in the way so be wary.

I would love to have a Spoon x-brace for my S but
kind of worried about the ground clearance since my S is lowered.
Any lowered S with Spoon X-Brace here give us some inputs.
