Mine, still going strong (over 2 years) in very cold Colorado. Below zero sometimes.

I got the same and mine just dies after a week no driving.... it also couldn't manage to give me some cranking power when it was freezing a few weeks back...

Seems like it performs awesome when you drive the car every day and when its not freezing tough...

But it's ALOT lighter than my old optima yellowtop and thats a big plus.

I've too heard they dont last more than a week if the car is not used and also in -c temps it struggles?

they can last 2 years if not use in 77F temp. but not sure about -c temps. seattle doesnt get -c much so not really sure about that yet.

@ Tan. thats dope man. how much was the bracket?

better make sure to put the battery on a tender if the car isn't going to be daily driven... or else it will die on you.

Mine was a daily driver, so I can't comment on it going dead over a week, but it was AWESOME even when it was really cold (mid-20's).

From what I recall, the Prelude battery was way over 30 lbs, so how are you arriving at a 10 lbs savings? I'm also curious what "trouble" it is to swap out a battery... :scratchballs:
