Looks very cool indeed.
But in order to do that kinda conversion to a 4 door, it looks like they have to remove the b-pillar which is a bad thing.

Not necessarily. Look at the chevy full size vans. They have suicide doors on both the driver and passenger side. Some also has full sliding doors on both sides like the Toyota Sienna, Caravan, Oddessy. The doors closed and latched together are as strong if not stronger than a b-pillar. Now this may be an issue for cars that do not have independent frames, as the unibody construction of most japanese models would need significantly more bracing.
