Width is not a factor. The reason CEL comes up is unexpected airflow characteristics from the missing cat. We use spacers and metering (small hole) to let it smell less so it would stay within spec.

70mm is nice though

Yes, we sell a 3" Test pipe and if you get the CEL fix option it won't trigger the CEL.

that doesnt look like it has any means to bring the o2 sensor back away from the exhaust gas. based on that i think that without an anti fouler, it will throw code.

you are correct - just purchased the new invidia 70mm tp and the built-in o2 fix does not work on my07, so i'm going to put the old fix in and i hope it works..

Silverbullet,

Let me know what you did to fix the CEL and how it works.

How are you liking the TP?

i've order a one piece ext. fix - looks a littler cleaner than using to spark plug defoulers and i don't have to drill anything.

I love the performance power wise. much better on/off/on throttle response and it pulls harder all the way throught especially with WOT redline shifts. however, i'm little disappointed in the "in-car" sound. the from the tips its better with a little more grunt. but from the driver's seat, it makes a not so nice steel pipe ringing noise when getting on/off the throttle medium-heavy or during any acceleration. it sounds normal when cruising. i don't know if this typical for tp on a s2k? i think it's the built-in cel fix making a crazy metal whistle sound.

power wise the perforance is worth the crazy metal sound and with a loud aftermarket catback you won't here it as much. the only problem i have is if it's the built-in fix making the noise, then i would rather see it go since it does not work.
