Default new mods help

recently i got into a minor accident, hit a guard rail in nc mountains, first time up there. I am looking to get more aggressive rims/tires and suspension. I do not have deep pockets by any means, so i am looking to get good deals on what i purchase. btw, my S is my daily driver. any help will be appreciated.

Sorry to hear. Check out RPF1's. Nice lightweight, cheap and good sizes.

More than likely just aggressive performance tires will do the trick.
Megan coilovers are reasonably priced.

Best bet is buy used. Check out the members for sale area. You can buy in there as a guest, just can't sell.

well, why did you crash?

Not to sounds like a dick but most people crashing on the mountain will benefit more with a high performance driver's training than impressive hardware upgrades.

most aftermarket suspension is less forgiving to input error than stock setup.

^^^

I agree with this guy completely. Most people can benefit more from learning to drive the car (don't get all pussy hurt, we all KNOW how to drive, right?) better. I drove my car for two years before I changed anything but tires and brake pads. Don't get caught in the mentality that you need parts to go fast. $100 bucks says you put me in a bone stock s2000 on all season tires and you bring your "modded" S up to the mountains, I'll be able to pull away from you. It's just all about experience.

Pretty embarassing when at a track day a pro driver can pass you in a rental corolla in the rain when you think your hot shit in your s2000 (don't ask me how I know, and no, I'm not a professional driver, haha)
