Default New product idea

My headlight lenses are getting a little beat up and worn looking with 172k miles on them. I've polished them several times but that doesn't take care of the cracks and chips. I would be in the market for DIY replacement lenses if someone made them. As our cars age I'm sure that the people that really drive them will need replacements too.

Replacing the headlight lens is probably a little more work than most people are willing to do. There's also a high probability of damaging the whole headlight if done incorrectly. Just buy new headlights.

Lots of DIYers on here, and plenty of people who baked their headlights. If the lenses were cheap enough I'd buy em. Better then spending 500-900bucks on a new pair of headlights if your originals work just fine.

I know they sell aftermarket clear lenses for Nissan S-model headlights, and would definitely be interested in a set for my S2000 if the price was affordable.

True, I too have done this with two prior cars of mine. I was just speaking from a business prospective. I would love to see something like this.

don't know if they would fit, but maybe email that e bay seller to see if you can use the lenses as a replacement, worth researching...

baking them is so easy....

i done many head lights for evos, sti's, and s2000's
most of the times to clear them.

but if you can find a lense you can just bake it and replace it,
