Maintenance. Once you get the maintenance things done then do some research and figure out what you want to accomplish with the car. Are you wanting more looks, more power, ect?

On my S i'm going to be doing a full nitrous setup. I'm hoping to hit around 280whp and 220ft torque with just a 75 wet shot. If you're at all interested in that check out my guide: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/869...-into-nitrous/

If you're wanting looks first, an OEM front lip and a slight drop will make the car look great.

moddiction shift knob and some low! if you have the 900-1100 to spend on coilovers or just a couple hundred on springs. but as suzuka said maintanence would be a great place to start.. plugs, fluids, etc. congrats on the purchase!

immediate mods: countersunk shift knob, highflowcat, springs/coilovers, lightweight rims

six month mods: na mods (i/h/e, vafc)

one year mod: supercharger/turbo kit

before the time comes, research the forums, when the time comes, then ask questions. so for now, you should be looking at lower shift knob venders, cat venders, what you are interested in for suspension, and what rims complement your car but also have reduced weight. for now, it's really go top down and have fun with your s2k, don't rush the mod bug 'cause when it bites, it has a big mouth.
