priced @ $5500
Where did you received your price quote of $5500? If you convert the yen to dollars, Spoon.jp site lists for 462,000 yen which come out to around $4,400.00 USD. Of course this does not include shipping etc.

I believe the J's big brake kit is $4,800.00 according to AJ-Racing.com

they are the brembo calipers, they do not hide that from anyone and even state they are the f40 calipers
