Is anyone running 245 50 r16 on the rear and 225 55 r16 up front. i know they're almost an inch taller then stock sizes. Whats peoples opinion on this. The tires I was looking at were bfgoodrich sport comp 2's and there 225 has a 9inch tread width so its a half inch wider then the stock s02 but the 245 is 9.7 inches and ive heard of people putting that tire in that size on the stock rim. So should i go with the 225 in the correct height or 245 even though its a inch taller.

Thanks for the picture. im not gonna run the 245 all the way around like yours im gonna keep it staggered. but can you tell the difference in the wheel height?

 

did you get the fronts drilled to fit the hub?

 

Honestly this is the best setup i've had so far. I had 19's with a 235/35 before these, and 17in ap2 v2's with 255/40 before that. The difference in height was not noticeable to me. The 19's were slightly taller of course, and the 17's were about the same. My car is 06 so it came with 17's but I have always loved the look of the ap1's.

 

Yeah I bored them out to fit the front.
