Default New Valved Muffler

Check out this new muffler. If they aren't too expensive, I might try replacing my stock mufflers with these.

looks like they incorporated a spring loaded exhaust control valve(like the one apexi makes) inside the muffler. i'd like to see how it sounds/performs.

IMHO
I had experience with that type setup years ago. It failed and made terrible noises. Those things always break after a short while. Avoid moving parts in the exhaust.

Hmm this is really interesting. If they arent that bad of a price, I have an old 60mm exhaust I could use and weld some of these on it, then weld on some ap1 tips. It all depends on the price of them though.

I agree with Sideways, a passive system will be more reliable. Most good valved systems use an external vacuum actuator (IIRC like the Carrera GT) but I don't think the weight and complexity is worth it on an S.

The CGT has an exhaust noise control?
