Default NGK Iridium Plugs

Does anyone know what the part number is for a NGK Iridium replacement spark plug. I have found the Denso iridium to be a IR22 or IR24 but have had no luck on the NGK PN?

NGK does not make a irridium plug for our heat range yet, only Denso right now

How long are they supposed to be good for? I put a set in a few k miles ago and forgot to make a note of when I should change them.

That's not true. I am now using NGK iriway no.8 spark plug on my
S2000 right now. You can check those spark plug on the NGK website.

FYI:

IK22= 7 (heat range) in NGK
IK24= 8
IK27= 9

I have used 22 and 24 for street but only use the 27 for road racing.

Funny.......Emailed NGK back in June and they told me that they would not have one till next year for our engines.

But I guess you have found one that is acceptable for our heat range and performance now. Thats cool.

Change interval...don't really know for sure, but I would pull them out at least yearly to inspect them, or if you have performance issues.
